Al-Kaabi meets the President of the Republic

The First Deputy Speaker Mr. Hassan al-Kaabi met H.E. Dr. Barham Salih the President of the Republic at the Presidential Office in Baghdad, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. The meeting discussed the political developments in the country, and efforts made to form the next government.
al-Kaabi stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation among the three Presidencies and working together to provide what is best for the Iraqi citizen during the next stage.
The President underscored the need to coordinate and activate the work among the three Presidencies, notably in the field of activating the adoption of laws by the Presidency of the Republic.
