Al-Haddad stresses need for coordination and cooperation between the political blocs and the Presidency of the Council of Representatives to pass important laws

Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Dr. Bashir Haddad stressed the need for enhancing coordination and cooperation between the political blocs and the Presidency of the Council of Representatives and the need to intensify efforts to legislate important laws that serve public interest and to serve people from Zakho to Fao, and send them positive messages.

This came during his visit today to the headquarters of the political blocs: State of Law, Badr, and al-Fadhila (Virtue) Party. He also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the political blocs and Kurdish blocs to pass important laws and resolve outstanding issues, especially those between Baghdad and Erbil.
Al-Haddad stressed that Barzani’s visit to Baghdad and his meeting with the leaders of parties and national forces represented an important step towards solving problems between the region and the center and building a national partnership in the coming phase and spreading the spirit of brotherhood and promoting peaceful coexistence.
For their part, the heads of the political blocs welcomed Dr. Haddad’s visit and lauded his keenness to communicate and enhance cooperation to achieve the demands of all components and his emphasis on activating the role of the parliament and information department to maintain the reputation of this institution and oblige the MPs to adhere to the Code of Conduct.
