Al-Halbusi meets the focal point of the daily wage and contractor protestors of the Ministry of Electricity

The Speaker Mohammed al-Halbusi met the focal point of the daily wage and contractor protestors of the Ministry of Electricity throughout Iraq, demanding to be permanent staffing.
The meeting reviewed the problems of the ministry staff and means to deal with them, especially the issue of hiring them as permanent staffing of the ministry through the addition of vacancies in the federal budget for the next year.
Al-Halbusi stressed the position of the legislative authority with the legitimate demands of the protestors in a manner consistent with the program of the new government.
The representatives of the protesters reviewed to the Speaker their achievements in the electricity sector throughout the country and their real numbers which are estimated at 33 thousand contractors and 8 thousand daily wage employees, amounting to 85% of the cadres of the Ministry of Electricity.
