Al-Kaabi meets unemployed postgraduates

The First Deputy Speaker Mr. Hasan Karim al-Kaabi described the unemployment of the postgraduates by the Ministry of Education as “administrative corruption”, since it represents a deliberate waste of scientific expertise and forces them to seek asylum in other countries in search of opportunities for decent living.
During his meeting on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, with the officials of “Baghdad Organization”, as representatives of unemployed postgraduates, Al-Kaabi said that the unemployment of scientific expertise is a type of administrative corruption.
He pointed out that “the Council of Representatives will follow up this issue with the concerned authorities, and discuss passing law to separate between morning and evening study, and it is known to everyone that the evening study is now the basic study in terms of number of students and cadres needed by universities and colleges, while the morning study is restricted to central acceptance only.”
For his part, Dr. Abbas Ali al-Jassim said that the organization “Baghdad Competencies” is an official organization and works as a representative of the h unemployed postgraduates, which are between 5-6 thousand graduates between Ph.D. and MA., explaining that most universities deal with this segment inappropriately in terms of the number of hours worked, and low wages allocated to them.”
