The Speaker expressed his condolences to the Iraqi people over the death of the great poet Erian Sayyed Khalaf

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi mourned the death of the popular poet Erian Sayyed Khalaf, who passed away on Wednesday.

His Excellency said in a press statement:
“With deep sorrow and deep sadness, we received the news of the death of the great poet Arian al-Sayyid Khalaf, one of the most popular Iraqi poets, who contributed to enriching the cultural movement in Iraq through his poems that sang the love of the homeland, and his national positions that had a great impact on the Iraqi street,” praying to Almighty Allah to cover the deceased with His mercy and inspire patience and good solace to his family.
