The Parliament Speaker meets the President of the Supreme Judicial Council

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi visited the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faik Zidane.

The meeting discussed laws related to the judiciary, and stressed the principle of powers’ separation.

Al-Halboosi expressed his support for the judicial institution, and the joint work between the Supreme Judicial Council and the Parliament to develop a plan to fight corruption within time frames.

For his part, Judge Faik Zidane urged to the continuation of joint cooperation between the two authorities to achieve the public interest.
