Al-Haddad receives delegation of Kurdish tribes in Baghdad

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Dr. Bashir Haddad received in his office a delegation of Kurdish tribal leaders in Baghdad, including the well-known tribe of al-Jaf, headed by Dr. Hussein Al-Jaf. During the meeting, they discussed the general conditions of the Kurds in Baghdad, their daily lives and their social and cultural activities.
Al-Haddad stressed that “Kurds play a great role in strengthening the social fabric in Iraq, and as they have legitimate rights under the Constitution, they also have duties to serve the country and participate in the reconstruction of infrastructure. The Iraqi people stood together in the face of terrorism and terrorists, and today they are working to strengthen the national cohesion and social fabric. Kurds are a vital component of the people of Iraq. They fought for democracy and freedom of Iraq and are keen to stabilize the country and establish the foundations for peaceful coexistence and strengthen ties and social relations with their Arab and Turkmen brothers and all other components.
