Al-Kaabi receives Russian ambassador to Baghdad

The First Deputy Speaker Mr. Hasan Karim al-Kaabi received in his office on Sunday 21st July 2019 the Russian ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Maxim Maximov and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed several issues, including arranging for the upcoming visit of a high-ranking Iraqi parliamentary delegation to Moscow, as well as a visit by a Russian official delegation to Baghdad, granting additional facilities for Iraqi students studying in Russia, and coordinating between the football federations of the two countries to organize a friendly game in the stadium Basra.
