Al-Halboosi meets the governor, dignitaries and elders of Jahra governorate

 

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi and his accompanying delegation, met on Monday with Governor of al-Jahraa Nasser al-Hajraf and a number of its dignitaries and elders.

At the beginning of the meeting, H.E. extended greetings on behalf of the Iraqi people, pointing to the depth of the participants between the two neighbouring brotherly peoples, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries, and that the visits between the two countries and the presence of the Iraqi delegation today in Jahra is to consolidate and strengthen these relations.

The dignitaries of Jahra province and its elders showed their great gratitude for this visit, expressing their desire to restore relations to what was in past and facilitate their visit to Iraq.

H.E. the Speaker said that the security situation in the past period imposed on the security authorities in Iraq to protect brothers and friends from terrorist threats, noting that Iraq now recovered after the victory, and the officials of both sides will take urgent action to facilitate visits and visas.
