Al-Haddad expresses condolences to families of those killed in stampede at Ashura rituals

 

The   Deputy Speaker Dr. Bashir al-Haddad expressed his condolences to the Iraqi people and the families of those killed in stampede at Ashura rituals (during Twerij Run) in Karbala. He wished a speedy recovery to the injured and prayed for Allah’s mercy for those who lost their lives.

He also called on the concerned authorities and the administration of the holy shrines to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the visitors.
