Al-Haddad on January 6: Iraq needs a professional army that protects the wall of the homeland, ensures stability and preserves the democratic experience  

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, extended his congratulations and blessings to the sons of the armed forces in various segments of ranks, officers and military commanders on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army, Stressing his sovereignty on the need to reconstruct and rehabilitate the army away from partisan loyalties and political affiliations to be at the level required to meet challenges and crises.

Al-Haddad, in a statement issued by him, added, “Iraq needs a professional army that protects the wall of the homeland, ensures stability, preserves democratic experience, defends national sovereignty, and protects state institutions,And work to establish human rights principles and concepts of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among the components of the people and the promotion of national unity. ”
