Al-Kaabi condoles Iraqi people on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)

The First Deputy Speaker Hassan Karim Al Kaabi condoled the Islamic world and the Iraqi people on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the grandson of the Messenger of God (God bless him and his family and grant him peace) Imam Hussein bin Ali with his family and companions in the battle of Al-Taf on the tenth of Muharram.
Al-Kaabi remarked that the martyrdom of the master of the youth of Paradise, his family members and his chosen companions was a revolution against injustice and the cry of truth in the face of falsehood. He added, “We, as Muslims, should follow the example of Imam al-Hussein by denouncing discrimination and joining efforts to fight extremism and corruption”.
