Al-Halboosi receives the US Ambassador
The Parliament, ‘s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi, on Sunday received the US ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Matthew Tueller.
The meeting discussed relations between the two countries, strengthening of strategic cooperation and coordination in all fields in accordance with mutual interests, as well as a number of issues of common interest.
For his part, the American ambassador expressed his country’s commitment and keenness to consolidate frameworks for joint cooperation with Iraq and support it in a way that achieves the aspirations of its people for prosperity and stability.
