‏Al-Halboosi receives a number of families and notables of Mosul City

‏The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received a number of families and notables of Mosul city to discuss the reality of it in all fields.
‏During the meeting, views and opinions were exchanged on the issue of elections and the need to ensure the city’s electoral maturity and to provide appropriate conditions to enable citizens to participate actively and freely to choose their representatives.
‏The meeting discussed a number of files related to services in the city, including those related to the central and local government side, where H.E. the Speaker affirmed the support of the Parliament to provide the necessary allocations for reconstruction, provision of services and the return of the displaced to their homes, indicating that Mosul needs a reform revolution in the procedures and administrative sites to be followed by a construction revolution to restore life to this ancient city.
‏The meeting also discussed the file of exempting the people of Ninawa and the liberated cities from the dues resulting from government fees and service fees during the period of ISIS terrorist control over the city, as H.E. affirmed that the Parliament is determined to find appropriate legislation to solve these problems.
‏The attendees also demanded, during the meeting, the necessity of selecting competent personalities to run departments in the governorate and giving more space to the people of the city in terms of competencies and experiences, as well as the inclusion of a greater number of its youth in the security and military institutions to contribute to imposing security in the governorate and in Iraq.
