Al-Haddad discusses with the Ukrainian ambassador developing and strengthening bilateral relations in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples.  

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, received in his official office today, Thursday 10/15/2020, his excellency the Ukrainian Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Victor Nidobas, During the meeting, they discussed the development and strengthening of bilateral relations at the economic, trade and cultural levels, and the expansion of horizons for cooperation in the field of training and capacity development, And to serve the common interests between the two friendly peoples.

Al-Haddad welcomed the ambassador’s visit and emphasized the need to build better relations with friendly countries, specifically Ukraine, adding, “We seek to strengthen relations between our two countries, We are working as the Council of Representatives to approve the laws of the agreements and legislate what contributes to the continuation of cooperation and coordination. And activating the work of friendship committees, and we hope that the two countries will agree on the necessary facilities for granting visas and regulating customs tariffs, And increasing the study seats for Iraqi students studying in Ukraine. ”For his part, the ambassador expressed his happiness for the opportunity to hold this meeting. Discussing files and issues related to mechanisms of coordination and cooperation between the two countries and expanding trade exchange, Indicating the Ukrainian government’s keenness to stand with Iraq and provide support and assistance in all fields to face the challenges.
