Al-Haddad: We deeply blamed the political blocs and national forces. We hoped to respond to our request to postpone the vote on the Financing Deficit , just for hours.
The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, expressed his regret about what happened in the last session regarding the political blocs ’indifference to the demands of their brothers and their partners in the Kurdish blocs. In agreement about the dues of the Kurdistan Region and the salaries of the region’s employees in the Financing Deficit law, similar to that of Iraqi employees for the remaining three months of 2020.
Al-Haddad stated in this statement: “We deeply blamed the political blocs and national forces, and this was not what we hoped for. We hoped to respond to our request to postpone the vote on the law even for hours at the dawn session on Thursday 12 November 2020, Until an agreement is reached with the Kurdish blocs and a national consensus is reached that guarantees the rights of all components of the people in the draft law on Financial deficit, and at the same time we thank those who expressed their regret and supported the postponed.
