Al-Haddad strongly condemns the terrorist operation that affected our innocent people in central Baghdad and calls on security leaders to take firm measures to uncover terrorist cells.

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, today, Thursday, 1/21/2021, strongly condemned the double suicide operation of the terrorists with explosive belts, which affected the lives of our innocent civilians in the center of the capital Baghdad / Bab al-Sharqi district – Al-Tayaran Square, and led to the deaths of martyrs and wounded.

Al-Haddad condemned in the strongest terms this criminal act, calling on the security leaders and Baghdad operations to expedite the adoption of firm measures to uncover terrorist sleeper cells. While calling for activating the intelligence effort and joint cooperation between the security and military institutions to eliminate terrorism in all its forms, and at the end of the statement, His Eminence presented his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, wishing for the wounded and injured to get well soon .
