Al-Haddad: Civil society organizations have a large and prominent role in the process of democratic transformation, construction and development, and in spreading a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

In the presence of the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, the two committees for peaceful and societal coexistence, headed by Sheikh MP Dr. Abboud Al-Issawi, held with the members of the committee, and the Committee for Civil Society organizations headed by Representative Yonadam. With the participation of heads and representatives of civil society organizations in all governorates of Iraq and a number of cultural and social personalities, In the beginning, Sheikh Al-Issawi welcomed the attendance of the Deputy Speaker of the Council and his continued interest in the activities of the committees. He also welcomed the gentle guests, Pointing out the importance of holding seminars and dialogues with civic organizations, activating their positive role to strengthen community peace and national reconciliation, and valuing their efforts in their voluntary and humanitarian work.
