Al-Halboosi receives the Kuwaiti Ambassador
The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received on Thursday the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Salem al-Zamanan.
During the meeting, they discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance them, emphasizing the need to support the work of the joint committees between Iraq and Kuwait in all fields.
The Kuwaiti ambassador affirmed his country’s support for Iraq and its people in order to achieve development and stability, pointing to the importance of maintaining communication between the two brotherly countries and at various levels and activities that strengthen the bonds of relations, including cultural and sports activities, referring to the Kuwaiti team’s participation yesterday in the friendly match that it had with the Iraqi team in Basra.
