Al-Halboosi receives the Palestinian Ambassador
The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi, on Wednesday received the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Baghdad, Mr. Ahmed Aql.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries, strengthening cooperation and a number of issues of common interest.
His Excellency the Speaker also received a letter of invitation to the House of Representatives from the Palestinian National Council to monitor and follow up the electoral process in Palestine, and to provide support and assistance for its conduct, as the State of Palestine will hold general elections for the Legislative Council and the position of President of the State of Palestine in the coming months.
