Al-Haddad: What is happening in Dhi Qar hurts us a lot. We will support all efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability and providing basic services.

Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad expressed his regret at the demonstrations and protests taking place in Dhi Qar governorate due to the deterioration of services and the fall of martyrs and wounded in Al-Haboubi Square, His Excellency pointed out that Dhi Qar is a school of literature, creativity, a beautiful painting of coexistence and harmony, a city of civilization and a bright history of struggle and patriotism, deserve of all attention, care, presenting of services and the reconstruction of the city in a manner fitting its history and position.

The Deputy Speaker of the Council, in this statement issued, said: “It hurts us a lot about what is happening in Nasiriyah and the whole of the governorate. We will support all efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability and providing basic services, and we call on the government to take urgent action to stop acts of violence in the governorate and protect peaceful demonstrators, We will follow up with the governorate’s representatives the developments of the events, and we will stand with our people in Dhi Qar until stability and normal life are restored. ”
