AL-Haddad: The visit of Pope France to the country is a message of love addressed to all components of the people, and reflects the values of peace and upholding the principles of mutual forgiveness and a human brotherhood in coexistence.
In a statement issued by him, Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad expressed his welcome to the upcoming visit of His Holiness, Pope Francis, to Iraq tomorrow, Friday, considering his Excellency that this visit will be historic, and support efforts and endeavors aimed at strengthening stability in the region, Consolidating the principles of peace and empowerment for the sake of continuing the dialogue of civilizations, praising the Pope’s great stances in support and urging national unity and intimacy among all Iraqis, as well as his call for international solidarity to confront the Corona pandemic.
The Deputy Speaker of the Council stated: “The visit of Pope Francis to the country is a message of love addressed to all components of the people and reflects the values of peace and upholding the principles of mutual tolerance and human brotherhood in coexistence. The components of the Iraqi people of all sects and their national and religious diversity.
In the same context, Al-Haddad criticized the mismanagement of the services file in a number of governorates, especially the governorates and regions that the Pope intends to visit. Unfortunately, some officials are reviewing services under the pretext of welcoming this visit despite the suffering of citizens from the deterioration of basic services for years and they deserve from the government a decent life and provide what they need away from Official visits and protocols.
