AL-Haddad on the thirtieth anniversary of the Kurdistan people’s uprising in 1991: We must preserve the democratic experience, the gains and constitutional institutions, unify visions and ranks, and resolve the outstanding files and issues between Baghdad and Erbil through dialogue and within the framework of the constitution.
In a statement issued by him, on the occasion of the thirty-year anniversary of the uprising of the people of Kurdistan on March 5, 1991, His Excellency the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad recall today, Friday 3/3/2021, and with great pride this uprising and the mass revolution that started from the town of (Rania) against dictatorship and agencies Repression and salvation from the injustice and persecution that our Kurdish people have been subjected to for decades.
Al-Haddad, in this statement, indicated: “We must preserve the democratic experience, gains, and constitutional institutions, unify visions and ranks and resolve the outstanding files and issues between Baghdad and Erbil through dialogue and within the framework of the constitution. His Excellency added that the March uprising is a historical and pivotal event for the people of Kurdistan, stressing the need for continued coordination and joint cooperation between the Kurdish political forces with the Iraqi national forces and parties that believe in freedom, democracy and peaceful dialogue at this particular stage to overcome disagreements and find solutions to problems between the federal governments and the region.
