Al-Kaabi and the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq discuss bilateral relations

The First Deputy Speaker Mr. Hasan Karim al-Kaabi received in his office today, Sunday, April 18, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Iraq Mr. Hrashya Poladyan to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries, and to discuss bilateral relations.

During the meeting, al-Kaabi called for activating the work of the Iraqi-Armenian Friendship Committee, exchanging experiences between the two legislative institutions, and strengthening cooperation between Iraq and Armenia in all fields. He stressed Iraq’s keenness to establish balanced relations with all countries of the region and the world in a way that benefits the present and future of the country.

For his part, Poladyan invited the Iraqi parliament to visit the Armenian parliament to strengthen the relationship between the two legislative authorities, appreciating at the same time the efforts made by Al-Kaabi and the Iraqi parliament in passing important laws, indicating that his country is keen to expand the relationship with Iraq.
