Al-Haddad discusses with the National Security Agency developments in the security situation on the scene, and ways to develop the capabilities and competencies of the security and military institutions to stabilize security and the rule of law throughout the governorates of Iraq.

Today, Wednesday, 4/28/2021, Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad visited the headquarters of the National Security Agency in Baghdad,His Eminence discussed with the Head of the Agency, Lieutenant General Abdul Ghani Al-Asadi and the Administrative Undersecretary of the Head of the Agency, Mr. Faleh Al-Issawi, a number of issues and issues of mutual concern and the latest developments in the security situation and events on the scene, As well as ways to expand the security and intelligence effort, develop performance and capabilities for the work of security and military institutions, in order to extend security, impose rule of law, hold land, and fight crime and terrorism.
Al-Haddad stressed the importance of raising the level of the joint cooperation and coordination between the security institutions and agencies in the federal government and their counterparts in the Kurdistan Regional Government to enhance stability and secure the lives of citizens throughout Iraq and address breaches in the disputed areas, His Eminence, adding the continuation of support and assistance by the Council of Representatives for security institutions, appreciating at the same time the size of the sacrifices and efforts made by these sensitive institutions, especially our country is going through a difficult phase and many challenges.
For his part, Al-Asadi expressed his happiness for the visit of a member of the Presidium of the Council and reviewed with Al-Haddad the security file and the efforts aimed by the National Security Agency to achieve security goals and achievements through continuous communication and exchange of information and experiences with all security and military agencies to install security and stability pillars in all governorates of Iraq.
