Al-Haddad criticizes the mismanagement of the services file in Kirkuk and directs the governorate’s deputies to continue following up and monitoring, calling on the federal government to quickly intervene to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

In a press statement, the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad today, Monday 5/17/2021, criticized the mismanagement of the services file in the Kirkuk governorate due to the lack of services, the continuous power outages, and the scarcity of drinking water in a number of areas in the governorate, which led to Great suffering for citizens, especially in the summer.

Al-Haddad directed the governorate’s deputies s to continue following up and monitoring the work of the local government and its departments, He added, “We call on the federal government and service ministries to intervene quickly because of the governorate’s failure to provide services, and financial allocations must be increased to help the people of Kirkuk who have been suffering from basic services for years despite the oil resources of that rich governorate.”
