Al-Haddad for Al-Sabah Newspaper: Officials should go to the street and practice fieldwork
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, called on the parliamentary committees Competent with the services file to follow up on the work of the ministries and service projects, carry out their legislative and observation duties, and diagnose obstacles and problems to raise or alleviate suffering, especially when we are in the summer and are about to rise in temperatures.
Al-Haddad said, in an interview with Al-Sabah: The crisis of deteriorating services is exacerbating through the country, and there is great resentment among citizens, and the failure is clear by ministries and service departments, and citizens deserve from the state to provide basic services such as water, electricity, roads, Waste Disposal, and rehabilitating parks. And raising the percentage of green space, and is part of the basic rights of the citizen.
He called on the government to “mobilize efforts, harness the energies, take the necessary measures, go to the streets and the field, not rely on reports and data, and stand directly on the service reality and address it with quick steps to contain the crisis accumulated for years, and hold the negligent accountable.”
