Al-Halboosi receives new Egyptian Ambassador
The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi, on Thursday received the new ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Walid Mohammed Ismail.
At the beginning of the meeting, al-Halboosi congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of assuming his duties in Iraq, wishing him success in his new duties.
The meeting discussed relations and enhancing prospects for cooperation between the two countries in all fields, including the economic and agricultural ones, to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, the importance of implementing memoranda of understanding and agreements concluded between the two countries and activating the outcomes of the tripartite summit between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan.
