Al-Haddad: Baghdad’s hosting of the tripartite summit is a positive sign that confirms Iraq’s pioneering and pivotal role in the region.

In a statement issued by him, Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad welcomed the holding of the tripartite cooperation summit in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Which brought together Iraq, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Eminence indicated that the historic visit of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the arrival of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to the land of Mesopotamia and at this particular stage come within the framework of what has been achieved from previous summits and building a partnership at the highest levels between the three Influential countries, and assessing coordination mechanisms to face challenges in the region and the Middle East.

The Deputy Speaker of the Council stated in this issued statement: “Baghdad’s hosting of the tripartite summit is a positive sign that confirms the importance of Iraq’s pioneering and pivotal role in the region, It is a good opportunity to discuss and discuss files and issues of common interest, implement strategic projects that combine Cairo, Baghdad, and Amman, and enable the building of solid and balanced foundations between the brotherly countries with whom we have historical relations.” Al-Haddad stressed the need to expand the volume of security and military cooperation to eliminate terrorism, as well as economic and cultural cooperation, and the health aspect, especially the Corona pandemic, and to support endeavors and efforts to ensure security and stability and reduce security and military tension throughout the region.
