Al-Halboosi receives Iranian Minister of National Security
The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received on Wednesday the Iranian Minister of National Security, Mr. Mahmoud Alavi.
Mr. Alavi offered the condolences of the Iranian leadership to His Excellency and the Iraqi people for the tragic fire of al-Hussein Hospital (peace be upon him) in Dhi Qar.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation prospects to serve the interests of the two peoples, as well as a number of issues of common interest, as His Excellency stressed the importance of supporting Iraq to maintain its security and stability, which contributes to the stability of the region.
For his part, Mr. Mahmoud Alavi affirmed the Iranian leadership’s support for Iraq at all levels and the continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
