Al-Haddad offers condolences to the family and relatives of the international Iraqi swimmer (Mahmoud Al-Obaidi), and directs the Ministry of Interior to conduct an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances of Al-Obaidi’s death.

Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, expressed his sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the well-known Iraqi swimmer (Mahmoud Al-Obaidi), who died yesterday by drowning near the shores of the Adhamiya area in the center of the capital, Baghdad. The incident raised a state of suspicion and ambiguity.

The Deputy Speaker of the Council directed the Ministry of Interior to form a Competent committee to conduct a transparent investigation and prepare a detailed report to reveal the circumstances of Al-Obaidi’s death and present it as soon as possible.
