‏Al-Halboosi meets Jordanian Prime Minister

‏The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi and his accompanying delegation met on Tuesday the Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bishr al-Khasawneh.
‏The meeting discussed bilateral economic and investment cooperation and coordination, and the importance of overcoming obstacles and expediting the implementation of strategic projects such as industrial cities, energy projects, electrical connections and other projects.
‏During the meeting, al-Halboosi stressed that the legislative authority in Iraq supports the outcomes of the tripartite summit and the consolidation of bilateral cooperation in the interest of the two brotherly peoples, praising the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II in support of Iraq and its Arab, regional and international role.
‏For his part, the Jordanian Prime Minister indicated that the tripartite, Jordanian-Iraqi-Egyptian summit gave an important impetus to strengthening joint cooperation, stressing Iraq’s place in the conscience of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanians, and the keenness to strengthen fraternal cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries in all fields.
