Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad stressed that the Council of Representatives is keen on performing its legislative and oversight duties and does not proceed to legislate any law or amendments to laws without adhering to the constitutional contexts and the internal system and its thorough maturation through discussions with specialists and related ones and hearings, In addition to reviewing the draft law in terms of linguistic sobriety and the possibility of its implementation on the ground in line with the needs of citizens, taking into account the social situation. His Eminence said that during his reception today, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at his official office in Baghdad, to the delegation that included Mrs. Sarah Iyad Allawi, a number of representatives of civil society organizations, experts in the field of law, and civil activists.
