Al-Halbusi meets with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly

 

H.E the Speaker Mohammed Al Halbusi, and his accompanying delegation met with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzooq Al-Ghanim during his official visit to Kuwait.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and means of developing cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially in the legislative field.

Al-Halbusi explained that the visit reflects the appreciation of the Iraqi Council of Representatives to Kuwait’s outstanding efforts in supporting Iraq in the war against ISIS, and efforts in restoring stability in the liberated areas.

For his part, al-Ghanim congratulated al-Halbusi on his election as Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, expressing hope that the next phase will witness further coordination between the countries. Al-Ghanim reiterated his country’s sustained support to Iraq and at all levels.
