Al-Halbusi congratulates Iraqi people and the Arab and Islamic nations on the anniversary of the blessed birth of the Prophet

The Parliament Speaker congratulated the Iraqi people and the Arab and Islamic nations on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet, considering the birth of the Holy Prophet the birth of civilization and humanity.
This came during a speech delivered by H.E. at the central celebration held by the Iraqi Fiqh Academy at the Abu Hanifa al-Nu’man Mosque in Baghdad on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth.
During the speech, al-Halbusi stressed the importance of adhering to the Prophet message by purifying the atmosphere among all sectors of society, renouncing violence, sectarianism and unifying the people in order to face the challenges facing Iraq.
He stressed the need for everyone to have a great degree of responsibility, and to be inspired by the Prophet thought, faith and humanity.
“We celebrate today on this occasion when Iraq has emerged from stage and entered another stage of optimism and hope for a better tomorrow, God willing, after we rid ourselves of terrorism and approached the benefits of the stage of construction and reconstruction, especially after the formation of the new government,” the Speaker added.
Regarding the systematic distortion of the Islamic religious practices by the terrorists of Daesh practices, al-Halbusi called on the religious institution to respond to this distortion through the direct impact on society and not to depend on speeches.
He also stressed his consideration of the need for government and community institutions to take their role against the attempts of the reaction of terrorism by justice to stop the deterioration of the community towards extremism and terrorism.
Al-Halbusi expressed support for the legislative authority of the Iraqi government to address the tasks linked to it in its legislation, with a view to ending the circumstances of terrorism and to deal with their negatives to stand on all the benefits of liberators and the preservation of the blood of martyrs, and rebuilding the liberated areas.
