Al-Halboosi receives the Tunisian Ambassador

 

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received, on Thursday, the Tunisian Ambassador to Iraq Ibrahim al-Rizqi.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations, means of enhancing cooperation and coordination in the parliamentary field, and unifying positions in Arab and international forums.

During the meeting, H.E. stressed the importance of expanding the horizon of cooperation in the economic field, which has a positive impact on the relationship between the two countries, and discussed facilitating the procedures for granting entry visas to Iraqis and activating the air traffic between Iraq and Tunisia.

Regarding the medical tourism in Tunisia, it was agreed to visit a Tunisian medical delegation to Baghdad in coordination with the concerned authorities to open the horizons of cooperation in this field.

For his part, al-Rizqi expressed his country’s openness to Iraq to offer all forms of support in various fields.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Halboosi addressed an official invitation to the Speaker of the Tunisian Parliament to visit Iraq in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
