Al-Halboosi visits Balad district, Dhuluiya Township and the shrine of Sayyid Mohammed bin Imam Ali al-Hadi (P)

 

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi met the President and members of the local council and tribal elders and dignitaries of Balad district during his field tour in the Salahuddin province.

H.E. listened to the needs of the district presented by the president of the Balad District Council and its members, including those related to the legislative authority promised by the Speaker to consider and follow-up them, and those regarded to executive authority and the implementation of the budget law, which will follow up the steps to be completed with the government, and discussed the service file and the importance of providing the best and providing services and meeting the needs of the people there.

The Speaker pointed out that Iraq will remain a united country, and that the sectarian strife has passed indefinitely, thanking and appreciating the families of the district who have protected their city and the northern gate of Baghdad city from the terrorist ISIS organization.

During his visit to the district, which was accompanied by a number of MPs and the President of the Salahuddin Provincial Council, the Speaker paid a visit to the shrine of Sayyid Mohammed bin Imam Ali al-Hadi (P), and met visitors of the shrine, stressing the need to continue expansion and disbursement of the necessary allocations.

He also visited Dhuluiya township and met with elites and dignitaries, praising the courage of its people, and recall the battle of (Thaat Alsawater) with ISIS organization, listened to a presentation by security leaders on the situation there and also was briefed about the needs of citizens and the reality of services in the area and the work of government institutions, stressing that the Parliament is determined to issue all legislation that will help the government to accelerate the process of building and reconstruction.
