Statement

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi followed, with great interest, the armed attack on the peaceful demonstrators, carried out by criminal gangs who are outside the law, that took place on Friday (yesterday), which killed and wounded a number of people.

And while His Excellency condemned those attacks and the costly loss of life, he reaffirms that the government and the security forces must take their role by force of law to maintain security and protect citizens and their property, and prevent any armed appearances outside the framework of the state.
