Al-Haddad congratulates the Iraqi woman on her International Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8 His Eminence, Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad presented the most sincere congratulations and blessings to Iraq’s women on Women’s Day, recalling his Eminence the great role of women and their honorable history and entitlement with men in building society and the size of their sacrifices in their bright path throughout the ages Also, the Deputy Speaker of the Council highly valued the march and struggle of the brave Kurdish woman in the struggle and the enormous sacrifices, and her participation in the revolutions of liberation from dictatorship and injustice in past decades.

Al-Haddad stated in this issued statement: “While we are highly evaluating the role of women in all spheres of life, and expressing a sense of gratitude and permanent thankfulness to them, we demand that their participation in all areas of political, administrative and economic life be strengthened, as we believe in their capabilities in successful management at work.
We also look at this stage to her pioneering role and her sense of high responsibility for preserving the family from the risk of coronavirus outbreaks by directing family members to adhere to health guidelines and implement preventive measures inside and outside the home against this serious disease that has become a source of concern for the general public and throughout the world, happy anniversary to all Iraqi women, and we wish them the best every year.
