Al_haddad of the dire anniversary of the massacre of Taza, Tuz Khurmato, Alton cobry and Kirkuk of 1991 condolences the families of the martyrs, and demands the federal government to compensate the families of the martyrs financially and morally.

Today, March 28, marks the 29th anniversary of the hideous massacre perpetrated by the defunct dictatorship against our Turkmen people in Taze, Tuz Khurmatu, Kirkuk and Walton Cobry in 1991. On this painful occasion, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, offered sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs of that tragedy, which unfortunately led to the displacement of large numbers of the Turkmen component, raiding their homes and killing young people with the aim of obliterating the Turkmen identity.

The Deputy Speaker of the Council called on the federal government to compensate the families of the martyrs financially and morally, and to ensure the benefits of the children of the martyrs, and work to eliminate the effects of the past and achieve social justice and attention in all the regions that were affected in the time of the previous regime and to preserve the components of the people with all their nationalisms and spectra.
Mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs of the Turkmen people and all of Iraq.
