Al-Halboosi receives the Kuwaiti Ambassador

The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi, on Saturday received Mr. Salem al-Zamanan, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq.

During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the two countries and cooperation in the files of common interest, stressing Iraq’s aspiring to more cooperation, especially in the economic field.

H.E. the Speaker thanked the State of Kuwait for its standing with Iraq in facing the Corona pandemic.

For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador affirmed his country’s pursuit of permanent cooperation with Iraq and its government in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples the requirements of the stage.
