Statement
The Parliament’s Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi condemned on Saturday, the treacherous attack launched by the remnants of terrorism on members of the security forces and the popular crowd in several areas in Salahuddin province at dawn today, which killed a number of them and wounded others.
His Excellency said that the repeated security breaches require a serious pause to review the security plans, especially in the liberated areas, to eliminate the remnants of ISIS terrorist cells, calling for non-complacency and negligence in this file and to preserve victory.
He added: “we extend our sincere condolences to the Iraqi people and the families of the martyrs of the heroic fighters who bravely fought the terrorist attack, praying to Allah for mercy to the martyrs and the speedy recovery of the wounded.
