Al-Halboosi receives the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi, on Wednesday received the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Nabil Kadhim Abdul-Sahib.
During the meeting, they discussed the reality of the higher education sector in Iraq and the importance of developing the university environment according to new work plans in a manner that suits its scientific goals and examining the possibility of opening branches of international universities in Iraq.
The meeting also discussed the need to take measures to address the situation of students in light of the current exceptional circumstances that the country is going through due to the Corona pandemic, which greatly affected the education sector.
