Statement

‏With Iraqi pride feelings, the third anniversary of the liberation of Mosul passes on us, with a great victory that astonished the world, and shed light on the bravery and courage of the Iraqi sacrifices, which were embalmed with the blood of the brave Iraqis from all the formations of our heroic forces, the army, police, federal police, anti-terrorism agency, popular and tribal units, peshmerga units, civilians, and all whoever supports our security forces, and with the support of the religious authority, the international alliance and brotherly countries, and all honest people of the world.

‏This great Iraqi victory will remain a witness of pride and dignity throughout the generations, and a lesson in giving, sacrifice and redemption couldn’t have a counterpart.

‏While recalling for the third year the liberation of Mosul, we stress the importance of the government speeding up the return of the displaced and starting the necessary reconstruction programs, compensating those affected of the people of Ninawa and all the liberated cities, revealed the fate of the absentees and the necessity of granting the families of martyrs and wounded people of Iraq their full legal rights, and ensuring a decent living for them, for the sacrifice made by these heroes.
