Al-Haddad confirms that the region has shown its full readiness to implement its constitutional obligations towards the federal government, and negotiations are continuing between the two sides.

As part of the round of meetings and negotiations held by the Kurdish delegation headed by the Vice President of the Regional Government, Mr. Qubad Talabani, with the federal government, Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad stressed the importance of intensifying discussions and dialogues to resolve issues to reach common understandings and convergence of visions about the suspended files and to overcome differences in this difficult stage, which requires everyone to make more efforts, endeavors and joint cooperation.

Al-Haddad in this statement referred by saying: “Negotiations are continuing so far, and the two parties are very close to the agreement and mutual understanding. We hope to reach practical solutions within the framework of a fair agreement between Erbil and Baghdad that is in the supreme national interest.”and the two parties are obligated to implement its provisions. ”
His Eminence added that the region has shown its full readiness to implement its constitutional obligations towards the federal government, in exchange for the latter’s respect for all its legal and constitutional obligations towards the region.
