Al-Kaabi congratulates the Iraqi policemen on their 99th anniversary

The First Deputy Speaker Mr. Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi congratulated the officers and employees of the Ministry of Interior on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Police appreciating their great and supervising role in carrying out their duties in maintaining security and managing many institutions with direct contact with the Iraqi citizen.

In a statement to mark the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi police, al-Kaabi said that the establishment of the Iraqi Police is a dear memory to the hearts of all Iraqis, lauding the great role that they have played in defeating terrorism and liberating the land and taking the initiative in many of the battles that the security forces fought against ISIS gangs

Al-Kaabi called on the government to pay greater attention to this system which is no longer a security system as it used to be but is now exercising several roles to serve the citizen, part of its security and the other societal and humanitarian, and here it is necessary to provide support for this institution to enable it to fulfil its duties and to be a bright civilized face for the state.

He continued, “Let’s not forget on this day the sacrifices made by the employees of the police forces not only for maintaining security but also for responding to the nation’s call, carrying out combat missions and proving their ability in this field mixing their blood with the blood of their brothers from the other security services in Victory battles”

Greetings to the souls of the martyrs and wounded of the Ministry of Interior and their generous families in all governorates of Iraq.
