Al-Halboosi conducts a field tour in Fallujah and Habbaniyah
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi conducted a field tour in the neighbourhoods of the city of Fallujah in Anbar province.
Accompanied by the Governor of Anbar province Mr. Ali Farhan, his Technical Deputy Jassem al-Asal, Chief of Police and the Commander of the 10th Brigade, H.E. the Speaker made a number of remarks to improve the service situation of the city and urged to redouble the efforts to provide better services to citizens, and met a group of people, listening to their needs which will be followed up with stakeholders.
The Parliament Speaker – accompanied by the Governor of Anbar, the Commander of the 10th Brigade, the president of Falluja University and the Assistant President of Anbar University – inspected the tourist city in Habbaniyah and met with the Director-General, who presented a detailed explanation of the development projects for all Habbaniyah facilities in order to promote the current reality of the city. His Excellency urged the presidents of universities to undertake a major volunteer campaign for reconstruction with the participation of the universities students and the support of the engineering efforts in Anbar province and other government departments in the province to restore life to this important tourist facility to receive the citizens from all of Iraq.
